Fast Company’s Anya Kamenetz has written a short profile of [E]nstitute, a new apprenticeship program designed to link talented young workers with limited experience with start-ups that are reluctant to hire untested workers yet willing to show them the ropes. [E]nstitute offers a stipend to its young apprentices, yet it can be understood as an innovative effort to work around strenuous labor market regulations that are increasingly pricing young workers out of entry-level employment.
