Thomas S. Hibbs is the dean of the honors college and distinguished professor of philosophy at Baylor University.
Hibbs studied at the University of Dallas and the University of Notre Dame. For 13 years he taught at Boston College, where he was full professor and department chair in philosophy. At Baylor, Hibbs has taught medieval philosophy, contemporary ethics, and interdisciplinary courses.
Hibbs has written many reviews that explore the issues of philosophy in popular culture and the inherently anti-popular nature of much high-brow culture. Many of his reviews have been published in National Review and the Dallas Morning News.
