Bad News for Strickland: Undecideds give Kasich a nearly 5 point lead

The new Ohio Poll is out today, with a novel adjustment – it has forced undecideds to say where they’re leaning. With those voters counted, the numbers look decidedly depressing for Ted Strickland, with 47.7 percent supporting him and 52.0 percent saying they support John Kasich. There aren’t any crosstabs, which is admittedly weird, but even though this is a much larger lead than the last three polls have shown, it’s consistent with where the election looks to be headed, especially if the wave washes over Ohio.
