OHIO: POLL ROUND-UP [Peter W. Schramm 10/19 09:55 PM]

Two more polls of Ohio were made public today, and it is safe to say that their disagreement indicates how close this election in Ohio might be: an ABC poll found that Kerry is ahead, 50-47%.

The ABC poll has some interesting detail that shows that 33% of those polled say that the economy/jobs is the most important issue (it is 26% nationally). This may explain Kerry's lead. The poll also found that the proposed amendment to the state constitution banning gay marriage is ahead, 48-45%.

Meanwhile, a FOX/Opinion Dynamics poll released this afternoon, has Bush ahead 49-44%.
