PENNSYLVANIA: KERRY LEADS BY 5? [Chris Lilik 10/22 09:38 AM]
Ready for another curve from the Keystone State? Only one day after a Mason-Dixon poll showed President Bush within a point of John Kerry, today's new Quinnipiac University poll has Kerry's lead over Bush at 5%.
Ironically, by a margin of 50%-44% and 49%-42%, Pa. voters polled said Bush acted "more like a leader" and "has done a better job explaining what he would do." than Kerry.
Back in the US Senate race, Senator Arlen Specter is slightly polling over 50%, with the numbers falling Specter 51%, Congressman Joe Hoeffel 36%, and Constitution-party candidate Jim Clymer 6%.
