PENNSYLVANIA: AP: PA. DEMOCRATS REGISTER OVER 100,000 MORE NEW VOTERS THAN GOP [Chris Lilik 10/26 05:07 PM]

Bad news for Bush's Keystone hopes: Pa. Democrats registered more than 100,000 new voters than their GOP counterparts.

The total number of registered Pa. voters is now 8.2 million. "Of the 437,896 new registrants statewide since the April primary, 247,207 were Democrats and 138,864 were Republicans," reports the AP). In 2000 Gore beat Bush by a little more than 200,000 votes, with a total of 4.9 million voting.
