IOWA: WHY I DON'T TRUST ZOGBY [David Hogberg 10/29 01:53 PM]
I’ve said before that I don’t put much stock in Zogby’s polling on the state level. Now, I’m beginning to wonder about the national level.
Today’s tracking poll show it tied again at 47%. Zogby states, “Kerry had a good day today.” But the same story notes, “Bush gained ground in some of the critical swing states.” Now, it seems that the swing states would be most sensitive to changes in national trends. So how can Bush go down in one, but up in the other?
Furthermore, that same story said that Kerry “had slipped slightly among black voters to about 82%.” How likely is it that can Kerry slip in one of his crucial constituencies and still have “a good day”?
