It’s only a single polling place sample, but for the first time in all my years of voting in NH, VA, and DC there was an obvious police presence at the polls today. The tiny town I live in has maybe 2-3 cruisers on the road at any time, and today there was an officer outside the school where I vote as well as one inside.
