As of 4 pm, GOP sources say exit polls have Kerry up by 4 in Michigan, 51-47. Pointing to 2000 results, however, GOPers are still hopeful that Michigan - and other battlegrounders where Bush trails - will tighten thru the evening.
At 5 pm, WJR News Radio pollster Tim Kiska reports massive turnout in Michigan. Turnout is already 60 percent, and he's predicting 70 percent before the night is over. That would be largest turnout in Michigan since Clinton election in 1992. 2000 turnout was 53 percent.
