Re: Why Goodwin Liu’s Nomination Should Be Defeated


President Obama is especially ill-suited to request that his nominees receive special treatment. Among other things, Obama voted to filibuster Justice Alito’s Supreme Court nomination, and he led the ugly attack against Fifth Circuit nominee Leslie Southwick and voted to filibuster that nomination.
