Utah Events

This Thursday, February 16, I will have two events in Utah.

At 8:30 a.m., I will take part in a one-hour debate/discussion at BYU law school with BYU law professor Fred Gedicks. The event (in JRCB 306) is jointly sponsored by the law school’s chapters of the Federalist Society and the American Constitution Society. Breakfast will be served.

At 12:15 p.m., I will take part in a one-hour event at the University of Utah law school on the anti-Prop 8 case and the broader battle in the courts over same-sex marriage. My hope, and that of the sponsor—the law school’s Federalist Society chapter—was that the event would be a debate, but it’s unclear at this point whether anyone is available to take the other side. Lunch will be served, I believe.

From Friday through Sunday, I will discuss the fine points of ski law with my son at Park City.
