1. Tomorrow (Wednesday) afternoon at George Washington University law school, I will be taking part in a panel discussion of the Prop 8 litigation and of the Defense of Marriage Act challenge pending in the First Circuit. The event is sponsored by GW’s Lambda Law and will begin at 4 p.m. in the Burns Moot Court Room (first floor of the Lerner Building).
2. On Thursday, March 1, Notre Dame law professor Carter Snead (who is also an Ethics and Public Policy Center colleague of mine) will be discussing “The Current Battle Over Religious Conscience Rights” at the monthly lunch of the D.C. lawyers chapter of the Federalist Society. (I hope to attend.) Further info here.
