Yesterday the Senate Judiciary Committee approved the nomination of Arizona Supreme Court justice Andrew Hurwitz for a seat on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, 13-5.  The Committee also held over the nomination of Patty Shwartz to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.
