More Reason to Hate the ABA?

Text

A follow-on to these posts: The National Law Journal reports that the American Bar Association’s Council of the Section of Legal Education and Admission to the Bar has rejected the recommendation of its standards committee that law schools be required to report salary data for their recent graduates.

From the article, I gather that the supposed reason for the decision is that difficulties in collecting salary data mean that reported data might be unhelpful or misleading. But Kyle McEntee of Law School Transparency condemns the decision as part of a “pattern of consumer-disoriented information.”
