Liu Vote Postponed

by Jonathan H. Adler

The Senate Judiciary Committee was scheduled to vote on Goodwin Liu’s nomination to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit yesterday, but Republican Senators exercised their prerogative to have consideration of the nomination held over for a week so they have more time to review his responses to written questions.  According to BLT, this means the vote will likely take place on May 13.
