Circus, Circus!

No one, it seems, will go along with Judge Walker’s pretense that his New Year’s Eve escapade is anything other than a ruse designed to enable him to authorize televised coverage of the Proposition 8 trial.  Citing Walker’s notice, an activist group called the Courage Campaign has launched a petition drive urging its supporters to sign their names to a letter to Walker that “insist[s] that the trial of Proposition 8 be televised.”  (Emphasis added.)  Or else…?

The Courage Campaign, not incidentally, produced a notorious anti-Prop 8 ad that appealed to anti-religious bigotry.
