Lund and Kopel vs. Wilkinson on Guns and Abortion

In a couple posts (here and here), I criticized as reckless Fourth Circuit judge J. Harvie Wilkinson’s law review article arguing that the Supreme Court’s Second Amendment decision last term in District of Columbia v. Heller was a conservative equivalent of Roe v. Wade.  In “Unraveling Judicial Restraint: Guns, Abortion, and the Faux Conservatism of J. Harvie Wilkinson, III”, legal scholars Nelson Lund and David B. Kopel offer a more extended critique of Wilkinson’s argument.  Very worth reading.
