Re: More Judges Stalled

Even if Chairman Leahy had not brought district court confirmations grinding to a halt, the Democratic ticket’s vice presidential nominee has been unaccountably holding up a nomination to his own state’s district court that was made by the president in February.  The nominee is U.S. Attorney Colm Connolly, rated well-qualified by the ABA.  Senator Biden’s hometown newspaper thinks he is not serving his state’s interests very well.  Whom does he represent, anyway?  Delawareans or his party’s national elites?
