Utah State University Conference

Next Monday, September 15,  Justice Scalia will give the keynote address at a conference—titled “Freedom and the Rule of Law”—that is being sponsored by Utah State University’s Political Science Department.  I’m pleased to be taking part in the two-day conference, and will be presenting a paper on “Original-Meaning Jurisprudence, Judicial Restraint, and Democratic Freedom”.  The other participants (in order of presentation) are Ralph Rossum, Joyce Lee Malcolm, John Eastman, Anthony A. Peacock, Louis Fisher, Katherine Inglis Butler, Jeremy A. Rabkin, Bradley C.S. Watson, and James Strickler.  The conference is open to the public.  More information is available here.
