A Nomination for the Fourth?

The State (of South Carolina) is reporting that the Bush Administration is plans to nominate Columbia attorney Steve A. Matthews to an open seat on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit.  There are three additional vacancies on the Fourth Circuit, and another on the way, for which the Bush Administration has yet to nominate anyone.
