The March of License

Over on The Corner, K-Lo directs us to Jeff Jacoby’s column in today’s Boston Globe.  It’s an “I told you so” moment for Jeff, who notes that a few years ago he and then-Senator Rick Santorum were right to warn that the Lawrence v. Texas ruling would open the door to every claim of sexual liberation.  And so serious arguments are advanced today for a “freedom” to engage in incest.

I told you so too.  One of the cases Jeff mentions is one that I wrote about in this NRO article.  Yesterday’s horror show becomes today’s subject of sober, chin-pulling discussion.  Yeah, that’s progress.  How do we say thank you to Anthony Kennedy for this?
