DoTobacco Charges Target Keisler?

An editorial in today’s WSJ speculates Senate Democrats are emphasizing the specious charges alleging political interference with the Justice Department’s tobacco litigation in order to obstruct the nomination of Peter Keisler to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit. This would be a travesty. Keisler is an eminently qualified nominee. Then again, perhaps that is why some wish to block his nomination.
