With Monday’s retirement of Judge Franklin S. Wan Antwerpen, the U.S. Court of Appeals became the federal circuit court with the greatest number of vacancies — four — according to Howard Bashman . Notes Bashman, “Two of the four vacancies have nominees, who are likely to be confirmed, while the other two vacancies have no nominees.”
