Re: Hit Pieces on Scalia

Text

I’m a big fan of the New York Times’s new TimesSelect feature, largely because it requires Internet users to pay to read a lot of the very content (such as Maureen Dowd’s columns) that is least worth reading and it thereby reduces the audience for that dreck. I’ve now learned that TimesSelect also includes some material not published in the print edition and that Adam Cohen’s hit piece on Scalia apparently was published only online. In other words, it appears that I was in error in stating that Cohen’s piece “appeared in last Wednesday’s New York Times.” (I don’t subscribe to the New York Times—or to TimesSelect.)
