Fourth Circuit Nominee Terry Boyle

Text

Any hopes for imminent action on the long-pending nomination of Judge Terry Boyle to a Fourth Circuit seat would appear to be misplaced. I am reliably informed that “there hasn’t even begun to be the beginning of a discussion” in the Senate on working out a floor vote on Boyle’s nomination.

Meanwhile, a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing this afternoon on the nomination of Michael Chagares to the Third Circuit will mark a small break in the Senate’s general inaction on court of appeals nominees.
