Here’s good news for admirers of Justice Antonin Scalia: the publication of Claremont political scientist Ralph Rossum’s new book on his jurisprudence, reviewed today for the Wall Street Journal by John McGinnis. This will make the fourth or fifth book about Scalia’s thinking, by my reckoning, and it bodes well to be the best yet, as Rossum has a real sympathy with Scalia’s jurisprudence, but a critical distance as well, and is a first-rate constitutional thinker in his own right. (And no, Ralph is not sending me a free copy . . so far as I know!)
