Alito Statement

A beautiful autobiographical statement, impressively delivered without apparent reliance on notes. What the senators and the American people saw is a decent, modest man delivering a moving tribute to his father and mother, favorably contrasting the community he grew up in with the irresponsibility of some of his more privileged fellow students at Princeton, and explaining his understanding of the role of a judge.
