Notre Dame Symposium on Religion and the Court
Back on November 9, I participated in a symposium hosted by the Notre Dame Journal of Law, Ethics, and Public Policy, on the subject of the religious commitments of judicial nominees. Gerard Bradley of Notre Dame Law School (and Bench Memos) was the moderator, and the other participants were Judge D’Army Bailey of the Tennessee Circuit in Memphis, and Prof. Francis Beckwith of Baylor University’s Dawson Institute of Church-State Studies. A video of the symposium is now viewable here, for those interested in what we had to say to our audience and to one another. My thanks once again to Gerry Bradley, and to the student editorial staff of the Journal.
