New Poll Numbers

by Jonathan H. Adler

From today’s WSJ:

Though half the country doesn’t know his name, Bush’s Supreme Court pick garners initial support from 54% of conservatives in a new Wall Street Journal/NBC News poll. That matches the proportion backing Roberts before his confirmation. Three-fourths of Americans don’t mind that Bush didn’t select another woman after Miers’s withdrawal. The poll’s margin of error is 3.1 percentage points.
