Shannen W. Coffin is a partner with the Washington, D.C., law firm of Steptoe & Johnson, where he specializes in appellate and constitutional law. From 2002-04, Coffin served as deputy assistant attorney general in the U.S. Justice Department’s civil division. He previously clerked for Judge David B. Sentelle on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit, and is a graduate of Georgetown University Law Center.
