The mournful, haunting music in Sharron Angle’s first television ad feels like it should be the soundtrack to the climax of a World War One movie, where the camera pans up, and sweeps across the battlefield, showing a broad span of fallen and terrible loss . . .
. . . but then again, “terrible loss” does describe Nevada’s job market.
I bow to no one in my desire to see Sen Reid defeated, but is Nevada's unemployment rate really the problem of its Senator rather than, say, its governor or state reps? Was he supposed to bring some make-work projects to the state to keep people at work? It's an effective ad -- which, I guess, is what matters in political terms --but substantively it seem a bit off the mark.
Harry Reid and the democrat freak show have perpetuated the capital grabs by Obama, they've created uncertainty in a private business employer system that needs certainty in order to hire people and he's/they've done nothing but increase government payrolls in order to control the means of production and capital.
So is Harry - Uriah Heep- Reid at fault? You betcha.
Go Sharron. Retire this glowering, cheerless, slumping, corrupt hack.
Delightful. Like the sadder part of a Mahler symphony. Go, Sharon.

Reply to this commentLinkReport AbuseNo, it is not a good ad because it can be challenged. the governor is a Republican. Why are the numbers so bad with a Republican governor?
