Dina Titus’ Vote of Confidence for Harry Reid

Politico notes that Rep. Dina Titus, Nevada Democrat, is approaching reelection this year by emphasizing local issues and distancing herself from the national party.

Titus was clear to distinguish herself from her colleagues.

“I’m not [Barack] Obama; I’m not Harry Reid; I’m not Nancy Pelosi. I’m Dina Titus and I’ve been there for you every day,” she said.

Dina Titus’s district also makes up one-third of Nevada’s electorate. Quite the vote of confidence for Harry Reid when the local Democratic congresswoman doesn’t want her views to be mistaken for his views, huh?

UPDATE: Man, nobody wants to be associated with Harry Reid: “He’s my father,” Rory said of Harry. “Not my political mentor.”
