Can a Tough Nerd Save Michigan?


I’ll have a broader roundup of results in the morning, but Tuesday’s primaries have generated their first notable result: The GOP nominee for governor of Michigan is Rick Snyder.

He’s pitched himself to the state as a “tough nerd.”

I think I recognize the distinctive baritone of Robert Davi in that ad, which ran in the state during the Super Bowl.
