‘Veterans for McMahon’ Goes After Blumenthal For Vietnam Statements

Linda McMahon, GOP candidate for Senate in Connecticut, is hitting Democrat rival Richard Blumenthal for repeatedly insinuating he served in Vietnam, often through fairly blatantly untrue phrasing like, “When I returned from Vietnam.”

The group is Veterans for McMahon, and the tough mailer can be found here.

I am sure he, or his surrogates, will insist this is “Swift-boating.” They will invoke the previous example of a Vietnam Vets criticizing another Vietnam Vet, in order to defend a veteran who told the public he served in Vietnam when he did not.
