I'm definitely supporting Kristi Noem, but to my shallow, male-oriented mind, Ms. Herseth-Sandlin would be welcome in the GOP if she can be persuaded to come over to the "R" side. ☺☺☺ ♪♫
Lower Brule is the seat of the Lower Brule Sioux Tribe, sporting a population of around 500 people about 40 miles southeast of the state capitol, Pierre. For that place, this is a big crowd.
Interestingly, as the video notes, these events that couple Democrat GOTV/early voting rallies with free food are under investigation by our State's AG as they have been previously ruled out-of-bounds.
You also noted that early-voting in SD is low this year. Perhaps they're offering lousy food.
Herseth-Sandlin may give Obama a "C," but they both have "D" by their names. No wonder they are both failures! LOL
We should all be on the lookout for election day shenanigans (food, polling place tricks, etc.) The Dems will hope that Republicans cannot react fast enough, particularly in heavily Democratic precincts and where the races are pretty close.
