Sharron Angle’s Back, and She’s Running for Congress

Are you ready for Sharron Angle for Congress? Because here she comes!

Under the current district lines, Nevada’s 2nd district is the most GOP-leaning in the state. However, the district lines will almost certainly change, as Nevada is gaining a congressional seat starting in 2012.

My guess is that this rural district will not change much in redistricting. If anything, it will become more Republican.

Whoever the GOP nominee will easily win this seat, including Sharron Angle. She carried the 2nd district by a huge margin in the Senate race.

The NV-02 will almost certainly have its Clark County precincts stripped in redistricting, and will comprise Reno's Washoe County, Carson City, and almost all of the Cow Counties.

I hope that Angle isn't the GOP nominee--she was a sore loser when she lost to Heller in 2006, and pulled defeat from the jaws of victory against the hugely unpopular Reid in 2010. The strongest GOP candidate for the House seat would be Maurice Washington, a black, conservative Republican who represented part of Washoe County in the state senate from 1995 to 2011. Dear Sharron Angle,
For the sake of the conservative movement and the Republican Party please go away.
3 loses in 3 consecutive election cycles for 3 different offices. Maybe the folks in Nevada are trying to tell you something.

Is unemployment so bad in Nevada that Ms. Angle can't get a real job?
