She’s One of Those Rahm-Hillary-Alan-Keyes-Style Residents

I don’t think district residency is a particularly big deal if a candidate has some other connection to a district, e.g., they work there on a daily basis and live just across the district line. But I’m sure some New York Republicans will have fun with this: Kathy Hochul, the Democrat running in the special election in New York’s 26th congressional district, does not live in the district. She’ll take on Jane Corwin, who lives in Clarence, New York, which is indeed inside the district, at least as the lines are currently drawn.
