McCotter: Romney and Obama Aren’t Rivals, They’re Running Mates
I hear through the grapevine that Rep. Thaddeus McCotter of Michigan — who has a small but devoted group of fans who adore his deadpan delivery style — is continuing to contemplate a presidential bid. And judging from this release, there’s at least one candidate he’s determined to see not get the nomination:
(PLYMOUTH, MI) — At 3:00 p.m. today, U.S. Representative Thaddeus McCotter will be joined by community leaders and workers to offer greetings to GOP Presidential pol Mitt Romney.
“Motor City Hospitality dictates a Michigan message to Mitt that our struggling families, entrepreneurs and workers think Mr. Romney and Mr. Obama are not rivals, they’re running mates,” said McCotter.
The discussion about restoring prosperity through jobs and economic growth in Michigan and America will take place at E & E Manufacturing in Plymouth, MI.
