Time For New Blood in Massachusetts’ 7th District?


Jonah noted this while I was on vacation; Jeff Semon,  creator of, is running for Congress in Massachusetts, in the 7th Congressional District.

He’s probably one of the few Republican candidates who has ever worked for the Boston Globe or New York Times – although as a consultant on financial systems.

He has an eye-catching opening statement: “The current incumbent [Ed Markey] was first elected to his office the year I was born.”
