The RNC scores an easy lay-up, collecting images of the president golfing, the insistence of the White House that Obama is on a “working vacation,” and coverage that there are widespread fears of a return to recession.

This may be the first RNC web video to ever cite Rep. Maxine Waters (D., Calif.), who recently urged the Tea Parties to go to hell, declaring that the current levels of unemployment are “unconscionable” and that “we don’t know what the strategy is.”

The ad is entitled, “Want to get away?” like the old Southwest Airlines ads, but for the rest of us, the economy is like the Snickers ads: Not going anywhere for a while.
