Chris Christie, Sixth-Grade Student Council Race Strategist


Something lighter on a Wednesday morning: New Jersey governor Chris Christie’s advice to Zack from Springfield, N.J., who is running for sixth-grade student council: 1) Make sure your friends help you; 2) remember to ask people for their vote, don’t take their vote for granted; 3) really colorful posters; 4) don’t make promises you can’t keep.

Undoubtedly, someone somewhere is interpreting the last comment as a slam on President Obama and an oh-so-subtle hint that Christie is secretly preparing to run for president . . .
