I find it rather fascinating that President Obama pitches his reelection message with “we have so much more to do” with about a year left until Election Day.
Also left unsaid is precisely what those unfinished tasks are.
You can’t ignore Bowles-Simpson recommendations, punt on the Supercommittee, kick the can down the road on the Keystone pipeline, and watch economic conditions from home prices to gas prices to food-stamp use and unemployment deteriorate and effectively run out the clock on your first term, and then tell Americans that your next four years will be a lot more productive.
If this guy couldn't accomplish his agenda with huge Democrat majorities in 2009-2011, what does he expect to accomplish with Republican majorities in his second term?
Obama was a slacker at Punahou, and he's still a slacker.
He's ridden the Affirmative Action wave as far as possible and, despite a two-year, filibuster-proof congressional supermajority, has contributed Jack S. to America's improvement.
Anyone who votes to reelect him is voting by race, entitlement, or is so stupid they deserve to be governed by the most Hal Fast "president" we've endured in living memory. Fauxbama makes Bernie Madoff look benign.
"Running out the clock". Everything he's done fits right with the impression I had of him at Punahou.
When Fauxbama was elected "president", he wasn't qualified for most entry-level jobs.
Why, then, is it a surprise to anyone that, three years into his current job, he has yet to produce satisfactory results?
Already, Fauxbama, ever the Boulesheit artist, has prepared a defense for his 2012 'performance evaluation', “we have so much more to do”. This isn't surprising since, if insider 'moles' are to be believed, our Narcissist-in-Chief has spent much of his time in office wearing flip-flops, with his smokeless ashtray, watching ESPN.
Any sentient manager (unfortunately, many aren't), presented with such behavior would either give the employee the boot or reap the consequences.
Even if We, the People, do the sane thing and lance the Fauxbamic pustule, a new administration will need to be 'shovel ready' to commence the cleansing of Fauxbama's extension to America's Augean Stables.
Nonetheless, it has been morbidly 'fun' watching someone with an extreme case of malignant Narcissism parade their delusions globally. Too bad it's our nation's "leader" and, hence, a joke on us.
Also, this has got to have been a confidence-builder for depressed folks everywhere with low self-esteem. "Why NOT try a career change? The worst you can do is Fauxbama It Up."
How's that logic any more flawed than the concept that if we can just raise taxes on higher-income people, subject the extra cash a shave and a haircut through the federal government, and then give it to favored pets and pet projects, preferably union run, where that money magically becomes a "multiplier"?
In basketball, it's called "four corners".
And he is an expert.

Reply to this commentLinkReport AbuseLOL, this reminds me of my approach to academics my first in year in college, long, long ago. I was not allowed to return for a second year.

Reply to this commentLinkReport AbuseThe next president will need three terms just to undo the damage of the one term of Barry.
When you hear statement like Obama's, you know you got to kick him to the curb. As Soon as possible.
