Club for Growth Backs Mourdock

The Club for Growth endorses Richard Mourdock in Indiana, which is not that surprising… in fact, if you’re a Tea Party-aligned conservative challenger in a GOP primary, it’s almost a requirement.

The Mourdock campaign happily e-mails:

In a statement, they said: “After thirty-six years in Washington, it’s time to send Richard Lugar home,” said Club for Growth President Chris Chocola. “Richard Lugar has served honorably, but he’s been part of the problem in Washington. He’s voted for bigger government, more spending, and he even recently voted against a permanent ban on congressional pork. Richard Mourdock will vote to limit government, repeal ObamaCare, and will help bring back the jobs lost to the Obama’s economic policies. The Club for Growth PAC proudly endorses Richard Mourdock for United States Senate.”

They join a growing list of conservative organizations who have endorsed our campaign, including Citizens United, Eagle Forum, Family Research Council, FreedomWorks, Gun Owners of America, Hoosiers for a Conservative Senate, the Minuteman PAC, National Association of Gun Rights, and the Tea Party Express.
