If you haven’t heard me touting congressional candidate Nick Popaditch on this blog or in public remarks before . . . here’s a nine-minute video describing his life story so far, from his childhood in Indiana to service in the Marine Corps. From his wounds in combat in Iraq, to his rehabilitation and recovery, to his run for Congress. The footage from Iraq is breathtaking.
Can we get 534 other people like this guy to run for Congress? Congress needs more bad*ss Marines with eye patches.
On an unrelated note: Is anyone finding the captchas today ridiculously illegible? I skipped through at least 10 before I just decided to try an audio clue.
Gunny had my vote in 2010. Unfortunately I will not be able to vote for him in 2012 due to congressional redistricting. But you had better believe I would if I could. Semper Fi, Gunny!
You had me at Marine Corps.
