The 2002 Democrats vs. the 2012 Democrats

Text

The same Democratic party that charged that Mitt Romney did not qualify as as a Massachusetts resident in 2002, because he had spent so much time in Utah running the Salt Lake City Olympics from 1999 to 2002, now argues that during those years Romney couldn’t have been too occupied running the Olympics to be involved in the day-to-day decisions of Bain Capital.

In the minds of Democrats, Mitt Romney is like a Visa card: everywhere they want him to be — or everywhere their narrative needs him to be.
