Eleven Years Ago


It is good that there is finally a tall tower, visible from Newark, in the lower Manhattan skyline: One World Trade Center, scheduled to be completed by 2014, 90 stories tall. Someday, I’ll take my boys there.

But it will be a long time before any adult visitor won’t first think of what it replaced.
