Sarah Palin vs. Caroline Kennedy and Ted Kaufman

So for two months we were told, incessantly, that the governor of Alaska was unqualified to be the next vice president of the United States. You know, not enough experience, not enough time in office, not enough serious accomplishments in the world of public policy.

But many of these same people are telling us that Caroline Kennedy, nice woman that she is, is qualified to be a U.S. senator. Because it would be “modern fairy tale to have the little princess grow up to be a senator,” as some put it.

And while I’m sure Ted Kaufman is a dedicated staffer, I have a hard time believing that a man who has never been elected to any office at any level, and who conveniently has no interest in running against his old boss’s son Beau Biden, is the best and most qualified choice for the people of Delaware.
