Since the television commentators were basically entirely wrong, and I was entirely right hahahahahahaha! I will summarize the Supreme Court's magnificent ruling so you aren't fooled by the blowhards this time. The Supreme Court said: "Gosh we can't figure out what the heck the SCOFLA was doing, but a state court sure can't ignore the U.S. Constitution, hope you guys weren't trying to do that! We're just going to VACATE your opinion which we're pretending we can't understand, so as not to be forced to call you abject morons and remand for "further proceedings" (please don't make asses of yourselves again) so we can be sure you weren't trying to do something stupid like IGNORE THE U.S. CONSTITUTION WHICH GIVES AUTHORITY TO THE STATE LEGISLATURES TO WRITE PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION RULES!!!!!" I have to run now, busy looking up all the legal commentary on how the Court would say it has no jurisdiction to rule on the SCOFLA's idiot opinion. "VACATED" does not quite constitute a refusal to review. |
