Re Reagan and 16th Street


Most cities are 90% Democrat. Therefore, under this logic, only Democrats or liberals will have streets named after them in big cities, never a great leader like Ronald Reagan. I notice a number of East European countries have taken to naming major roads after Reagan. What do they know that we don’t? Perhaps we should strip John and Robert Kennedy’s names from major streets throughout America so as not to embarrass the Kennedy family? Come on. When the grid for Washington’s streets was designed, the number “16″ had no significance. Now, it might to some today, just as the number “19″ has some kind of significance to the Louis Farrakhan. But who cares?
