Academic Free Speech

The Chronicle of Higher Education has a forum in its Review section this week on free speech in academia. I was invited to participate, along with a number of other critics of the academy. The forum is interesting, not only for welcoming both sides of the debate, but for how effectively it displays some of the very worst professorial rationalizations for the left’s near-total control of the academy. Unfortunately, the forum is available only to subscribers. If the link becomes publicly available at a later date, I’ll post it. If you’re at a college, you can almost surely get a copy at the library.
